more. No shortage of good hotels, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's good length for a morning trip.

This river has so much to offer. You simply ought to have a look at Parker Ledge if you're here at Pemigewasset River, and there's a good forest called Fay State Forest. Hit the slopes at Loon Mountain close by, and the Whitehouse Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby.
