There are many good hotels to choose from, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip. Going for a hike on the Mount Pemigewasset Trail is always a good adventure, and some splendid nature is available in Fay State Forest.
