The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in New Hampshire are often more challenging than in other states, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. This section of Pemigewasset River is 11.25 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I section. The wild scenery of the White Mountains is great.
