This stretch of Pemigewasset River - East Branch in New Hampshire is 8.92 miles long and has been rated as a class IV section by American Whitewater. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. This is not the only     paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. The river winds through the White Mountains and you get great scenery. The starting point is not too far from Berlin, as you can see on the road map further down. The scenic beauty of Grafton County and the playfulness of the water beats anything. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places. No shortage of good hotels, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
