The scenic beauty of New Hampshire and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. The put-in location is a short drive from Berlin, as you can see on the road map further down. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so why not pack your camping stuff too. The beauty of
the White Mountains is a great plus for this river. This stretch of Pemigewasset River - North Fork in Grafton County is 12.4 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV-V section. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to
keep you coming back for more. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are so many stretches to paddle in this river system, the Lincoln stretch is just one of many. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby.
