The wonderful Hillsborough County scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Piscataquog River are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The Goffstown section of Piscataquog River in New Hampshire is 2.4 miles long and is a class II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. There
are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in New Hampshire is often tougher than elsewhere, so don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. The campgrounds here at Piscataquog River are pretty good. Great
exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. This stretch is short so better bring some good walking shoes.
