  The New Boston to Goffstown stretch of Piscataquog River - South Branch in New Hampshire is 5 miles long and it is classified as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. The put-in is not too far from Manchester-Nashua, as you can see on the road map further down. A bit
    of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled
as well. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This stretch has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that.
