This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip. The White Mountains scenery is wonderful. What would winter be without   some skiing at Attitash Bear Peak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Rocky Branch; Humphreys Ledge Trail is a good local trail. Good hiking is available along the Mount Stanton Trail, and if you're addicted to cool geologic traits try Whites Ledge. Summertime at Rocky Branch arrives with high temperatures in the 50's while night lows are regularly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are commonly in the 10's with temperatures at Rocky Branch dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.
