The nature scenery of New Hampshire and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so better not forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip. This section of Rocky Branch in New Hampshire is 4.2 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV-V section. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but you'd better reserve in advance
because these hotels fill up quick. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. The beauty of the White Mountains is a great
plus for this river. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This is the only paddling stretch along Rocky Branch.
