There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Souhegan River temperatures fall to the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Souhegan River a wet location;
all through the month of November you get the most rain around here while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Not far from Souhegan River you can enjoy the trees of Russell-Abbott State Forest; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Mitchell Hill Road.
