This stretch of Souhegan River is -blank- miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-II section of whitewater. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. For all you camping people there are campgrounds
nearby. The Indian Ledges section is the only paddling section along Souhegan River.
Briefly about the general area: The high level of rain makes Souhegan River a rather wet place; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is September.
Summertime highs at Souhegan River ordinarily tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Souhegan River.
