The starting location is a reasonable drive from Manchester-Nashua, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The Route 31 to Wilton     stretch of Stony Brook in New Hampshire is 1.25 miles long and is a class III-IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in New Hampshire are harder than the national norm, so better not forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This section is very short so no need to bring snacks.
