The starting point is not too far from Lebanon, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling rivers. This section of Sugar River in New Hampshire is 2.8 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. This section is quite short so you'll have to walk back to the start     over and over. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in New Hampshire are often more challenging than in other states, so better not forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. There are no other sections to paddle along Sugar River than the North Newport to Route 103 section. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
