If you're coming from Laconia it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside New Hampshire you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable.
