Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The starting location is a short drive from Berlin, as you can see on the road map further down. The beauty of the White Mountains is a great plus for this river. There aren’t any hotels
right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This is a short paddling stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. There's camping available
