Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in New Hampshire are harder than the national norm, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip. This section of Warner River in New Hampshire is 5.15 miles long and has been determined     by American Whitewater to be a class IV section. There are no other stretches to paddle along Warner River than the Melvin Mills to Warner stretch. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. Briefly about the general area: For the duration of the summertime here at Warner River, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Warner River. A normal amount of precipitation   falls here at Warner River; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. Harriman Chandler State Forest is a tremendous local forest; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Wilmot Trail.
