If you're coming from Concord it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. The beautiful scenery of New Hampshire and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're not from around here don't forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. This is a very short stretch so it's not like you're
