This section of Lamington River in Morris County is 5.8 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III(IV) section of whitewater. The natural beauty of New Jersey and the water flowing gracefully down Lamington River are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in New Jersey are often more forgiving than in other
states, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance
you're all set. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on an afternoon.
