Not too much water, had to get out and walk in river often. Says Fred Soffa Whitewater rafting and kayaking in New Jersey is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. The starting location is a short drive from Trenton-Ewing, as you can see on the road map further down. Lodging is available near the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Some     people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good rivers for that around here. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your camping stuff. Briefly about the general area: Summertime   highs at Lamington River usually tend to be in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Lamington River dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Lamington River ordinarily gets a great deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls during August while February is generally the driest month.
