This is the only paddling stretch along Lockatong Creek. This section of Lockatong Creek in New Jersey is 13 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III-IV section of whitewater. If you'll be staying in a hotel you're in luck, lodging is available very near the river, but do book a room     before you come because it is a very popular destination. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in New Jersey is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are less demanding. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people.
