The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in New Jersey are often easier than in other states, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more.
