pretty good. The wild scenery of the San Juan Mountains is great. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The nature scenery of New Mexico and
the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip.
