The natural beauty of New Mexico and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good places for that around here. You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your camping     stuff. There's camping available near Rio Grande. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
