  If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside New Mexico you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so don't forget that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. The natural beauty of New Mexico and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your camp stove.
    There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Lobatos Bridge
