rafting or kayaking there are not so many other good spots for that around here. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. The river winds through the San Juan Mountains and you get great scenery. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if
| you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your camp stove.
