This section of Beaver River is 3 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV-V section of whitewater. This is a somewhat short section so no need to bring snacks. The nature scenery of New York and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll     find lots of paddling places.
