This stretch of Beaver River in Lewis County is 1 miles long and is a class V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The scenic beauty of Lewis County and the water flowing gracefully down Beaver River are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. The nearby hotels are a bit away     from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This is an extremely short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times.
