If you're coming from Kingston it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The natural beauty of New York and the water flowing gracefully down Beaver Kill River have people coming here. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Great exercise and just hanging

than the Route 212 bridge below Willow to Kaaterskill section. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The average New York whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. The wild scenery of the Catskill Mountains is great.
