You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come.
This is a bit of a short stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. There are no other stretches to paddle along Beer Kill River than the Cape Road to Route 52 stretch.
