This section of Catskill Creek in Albany/Greene County is 17 miles long and it is classified as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The nature scenery of Albany/Greene County and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that.
