This section of Delaware River in New York is 0.2 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II section. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There are some good hotels near the river, but you'd     better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. This is a very short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. Briefly about the general area: Go for a hike on the Lost Cabin Trail, and a cool spot to go to is Elephants Feet.
