This section of Fall Creek is 6 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II section. The starting location is a short drive from Ithaca, as you can see on the road map further down. This stretch is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good spots for that around here. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking     here in New York are often more challenging than in other states, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more.
