Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. This stretch of Genesee River in Wyoming/Livingston County is 4.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III section. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher
than in other states, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is
an area with not too many other spots for that. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The Lee's Landing to St. Helena stretch is the only paddling stretch along Genesee River.
