The Above Diprill Road bridge to G section of Glen Creek in New York is 4.5 miles long and is a class III-IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The natural beauty of New York and the water flowing gracefully down Glen Creek beats anything. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, good for a one day paddling trip. The starting location is a short drive
from Glens Falls, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in New York are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections here
are not safe for beginners. This is the only paddling stretch along Glen Creek. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Whitewater paddling here in the Adirondack Mountains is a great experience. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come.
