The scenic beauty of New York and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling     places. There are no other sections to paddle along Glen Creek than the Above Diprill Road bridge to G section. This section of Glen Creek in New York is 4.5 miles long and it is classified as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is wonderful. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. The campgrounds here at Glen Creek are pretty good. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Glens Falls, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that.
