The scenic beauty of New York and the water flowing gracefully down Holmes Lake Outlet attract people from near and far. The average New York whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. Holmes Lake Outlet doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Route 125 to West     Stony Creek stretch is the only one. This is a very short section so better bring some good walking shoes.
