The North River to Riparius stretch of Hudson River in New York is 13 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III section of whitewater. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping
bag. Whitewater paddling here in the Adirondack Mountains is a great experience. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The average whitewater rafting
