This stretch of Hudson River is 2.15 miles long and it is classified as a class I section by American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Saratoga/Warren County and the cool fresh water beats anything. The starting point is not too far from Glens Falls, as you can see on the road map further down. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to     spend a night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are so many sections to paddle in this river system, the Feeder Dam to Glens Falls section is just one of many. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. This section is quite short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Through the summertime months at Hudson River temperatures are generally in the 70's   with overnight lows in the 50's.
