Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in New York tend to be more challenging than the national average, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. This section is quite short so no need to bring snacks.
