There are no other stretches to paddle along Indian River than the Brooktrout Lake to South Branch Moose stretch. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. The campgrounds here at Indian River are pretty good. Briefly about the general area: Indian River gets a large amount of water; August is the wettest month with most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Indian River through the warm months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's.
