John's Brook doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Caretaker's Cabin to Moutaineer Outfitters in Keene Valley stretch is the only one. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The river winds through the Adirondack Mountains and you get great scenery. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places. Whitewater rafting and
