The natural beauty of Green/Ulster County and the water flowing gracefully down Kaaterskill Creek are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. There are nice comfortable hotels here, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so pack your camping stuff. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. If you've been out of state whitewater     rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. When you're paddling down a Catskill Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. There are no other sections to paddle along Kaaterskill Creek than the High Falls to Catskill Creek section. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good spots for that around here.
