The wonderful New York scenery and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. This is the only paddling section along Kinderhook Creek. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling spots. If you're coming from Hudson it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you can see on the road map further down.
