CLASS I-II     8 miles
  This stretch of Little Delaware River in Delaware County is 8 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. There are no other stretches to paddle along Little Delaware River than the Route 28 to Delaware River stretch. On this section you do get some distance, good for a one day paddling trip. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to
    get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. When you're paddling down a Adirondack Mountains river
like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in New York is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. The scenic beauty of Delaware County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything.
