The beautiful scenery of New York and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in New York is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The Stone Dam Trail to Kincaid     Road section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. Whitewater paddling here in the Adirondack Mountains is a great experience.
