The natural beauty of Albany/Saratoga County and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in New York are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving.
