The nature scenery of Albany/Saratoga County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This is a short paddling stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
