The Cherrytown to Boyce Road section of Mombaccus Creek is 6 miles long and is a class I-III(V+) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. There are no other sections to paddle along Mombaccus Creek than the Cherrytown to Boyce Road section. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature have people coming     from far and near. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in New York is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. This stretch is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip. Lodging is available near the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
