The Normansville to Route 32 section of Normans Kill River in Albany County is 3 miles long and has been rated as a class I-V section by American Whitewater. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking
around here you'll find a large number of good places. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. The Normansville to Route 32 stretch is the only paddling stretch along Normans Kill River. There are many good hotels
to choose from, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This is a somewhat short section so better bring some good walking shoes. If you're coming from Albany-Schenectady-Troy it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost.
