This stretch of North Sandy Creek in New York is 17 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II section. The starting location is a short drive from Watertown-Fort Drum, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The wonderful New York scenery and the water flowing gracefully down North Sandy Creek beats anything. This is the only paddling section along North Sandy Creek. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. No matter if you're whitewater rafting
