This stretch of Ouleout Creek in Delaware County is 6.5 miles long and has been rated as a class I-III section by American Whitewater. Ouleout Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Wagner Hollow Road Bridge to Route 357 stretch is the only one. This is a     pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The starting location is a short drive from Oneonta, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby.
