The Blanchard Hill Road to Grass River stretch of Plumb Brook in St. Lawrence County is 4.5 miles long and is a class III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The nature scenery of St. Lawrence County and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. The put-in is not too far from Ogdensburg-Massena, as you can see on the road map further down.     Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. There's camping available near Plumb Brook. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are no other stretches to paddle along Plumb Brook than the Blanchard Hill Road to Grass River stretch.
