If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your sleeping bag. The campgrounds here at Sacandaga River are pretty good. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Gloversville, as you can see on the road     map further down. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the East Branch to Hope section is just one of them.
