This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon     trip. The wild scenery of the Adirondack Mountains is great. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners.
