If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations     you might end up sleeping in your car. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The Salmon River Dam to Bennett Bridge section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. This is a short paddling stretch so better bring some good walking shoes.
