Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. There are
campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you
might end up sleeping in your car. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip. If you're coming from Malone it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down.
